Many believe Vienna is called the City of Dreams because Sigmund Freud - the father of psychoanalysis, lived there. But is it so? Ever since the Romans established the fortified town of Vindobona in 15 BC, the city has given us many things to dream about - music, desserts, wine, and so on. It would be a surprise if you haven't heard about the Easter Island Heads. These are among the most famous sculptures in the world. If by any chance you haven't, now you will get familiar with the massive figures or moai. Moreover, as it was discovered, their name is actually misleading because as a team of archaeologists at UCLA have found out the well-known monoliths are not only busts but whole bodies buried in the ground.

A Prize That First Makes People Laugh, and Then Makes Them Think

We have all heard about the Nobel prize - the grandest dream achievement of every scientist. But exactly 30 years ago the scientific world started celebrating the work of those who deal with the smaller and sometimes absurd-looking questions about the life, universe, and everything. Since then, every year on the First Annual Awards Ceremony the Ig Nobel Prizes are given to scientists who first make us laugh and then make us think.
