Virginia Rivas

Laureate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona and Institute Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
A renowned American linguist, cognitive scientist, philosopher, historian, social critic, and political activist. Noam Chomsky is one of the most influential public intellectual in the world and a significant figure in analytic philosophy and one of the creators of the area of cognitive science. He is often dubbed "the father of modern linguistics".

Vani Edin

Her work has appeared widely, from Scientific American, CALYX, Crannog, and Poetry Magazine, to online environmental journals such as Terrain: a Journal of the Natural and Built Environments and The Tiny Seed. Her poetry has been nominated for the Forward Prize and two Pushcarts; and anthologized in Honoring Nature: An Anthology of Authors and Artists Festival Writers.
